Schwarze Sonne - Die Macht der Mythen und ihr Missbrauch in Nationalsozialismus und rechter Esoterik (Buch + DVD) von Rüdiger Sünner

Buch und Film erhellen den wenig untersuchten Zusammenhang von Esoterik, Mythologie und Politik des Dritten Reiches, indem sie Einblicke in SS-Archive, Originalliteratur und zeitgenössische Quellen geben. Der Bogen zur Gegenwart ist für die aktuelle Auseinandersetzung mit rechten Tendenzen wichtig, denn solche Mythen leben in neonazistischen und esoterischen Zirkeln weiter. Vor allem das Buch zeigt aber, dass die Tabuisierung der nordischen Mythen keine Lösung ist, da sie zu unserer Kultur gehören. Buch und Film sind Standardwerke zur rechten Esoterik geworden. Das Buch erschien seit 1999 in drei Auflagen im Herder Verlag. Der gleichnamige Dokumentarfilm von Rüdiger Sünner wurde viel beachtet und gehört zum Standardrepertoire der politischen Bildung.

Alles Leben und der Kosmos selbst stammen aus der Kälte. Zu Anfang der Welt stürzten Eismassen in einen feuerartigen Riesenstern. Aus diesem dramatischen Ereignis folgen alle späteren Entwicklungen.

Rüdiger Sünner, Verfasser des Buches DIE SCHWARZE SONNE, berichtet über Hanns Hörbigers Welt-Eis-Theorie. Hörbiger (Vater der beiden bekannten Ufa-Schauspieler), ein Ingenieur und Kosmologe, entwarf als eine Art Anti-Einstein eine Vision des kalten Kosmos. Hitler gehörte zu den festen Anhängern dieser Lehre.
