"If you want a friend, get a dog" - Gordon Gekko - Wall Street (1987)

Posted on 00:13 by Unknown

Fighting for democracy and the free world, go. Lassie, go! Bite their red testicles!
Yes! Whenever bicycles are broken, or menaced by International Communism, Bicycle Repair Man and LASSIE are ready! Ready to smash the communists, wipe them up, and shove them off the face of the earth... Mash that dirty red scum, kick 'em in the teeth where it hurts. Kill! Kill! Kill! The filthy bastard commies, I hate 'em! I hate 'em! Aaargh! Aaargh!
— Monty Python's Flying Circus

John Cleese - Red Scum

It was a little cocker spaniel dog in a crate that he'd sent all the way from Texas. Black and white spotted. And our little girl-Tricia, the 6-year old-named it Checkers. And you know, the kids, like all kids, love the dog and I just want to say this right now, that regardless of what they say about it, we're gonna keep it.
